Radford Hope School of Fine Arts, in Bloomington, Ind., and her BA from Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD)
in Columbus, Ohio. This is her first solo show at SFA.

Griffith Gallery
This exhibition showcases four artists from Texas and Massachusetts who explore architectural construction and
deconstruction, encompassing themes that include suburbanization, entropy, recycling and shelter. Paintings,
sculptures and an outdoor installation are included.

Bienniel Juried Art Metals/Jewelry Competition and Exhibition

The sixth REFINED exhibition will demonstrate the wide breadth of originality in the jewelry discipline throughout
the world. Juror Lisa Gralnick is a jeweler and professor of art at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Texas National 2010

This annual juried competition and exhibition attracts entrants from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
It provides emerging artists an opportunity to have work juried by internationally acclaimed artists such as this year’s
juror Judy Pfaff. At the 6 p.m. reception on April 10, Pfaff will announce the winners of TEXAS NATIONAL 2010 and open
her own solo show in Reavley Gallery.

The recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, Pfaff is best known for her exuberant, sprawling sculptures
and installations that weave landscape, architecture and color into a tense yet organic whole. Her Nacogdoches
exhibition will include both large and small drawings with 3D elements.

Griffith Gallery is located in the Griffith Fine Arts Building, Room 208, and is open 12:30 to 5 p.m.,
Tuesday through Saturday. The Ed and Gwen Cole Art Center @ The Old Opera House is located at 329 E. Main St.
It contains two galleries: the Jack and Doris Ledbetter Gallery on the first floor and the
Florence Wilson Reavley Gallery on the second floor. Its hours are 12:30 to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.
All exhibitions, receptions and gallery talks are free and open to the public.
