How can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available for nearly all events online, 24 hours a day, through midnight the day before the event.
During regular Box Office hours, tickets may be purchased via telephone or in person. Tickets are also available in
person at the event location at least 45 minutes before the event begins.
Is it better to purchase tickets online or over the phone?
Online sales are great if you need to purchase in advance during a time other than our regular hours. Purchasing
tickets over the phone will save you some service fees, allow you to ask questions about the event and, for reserved seating
events, give you much greater flexibility in selecting your seat location.
Can I reserve tickets without paying?
No, all individual ticket must be purchased; we do not hold tickets without payment. Exceptions apply to the Children’s
Performing Arts Series and selected dinner fund-raisers.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes. Door sales at Turner Auditorium may be paid with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express
or Jack Bucks. Doors sales at Cole Concert Hall and the Downstage Theatre may be paid with cash or check.
Is there a group discount available?
Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted full price adult tickets when they are purchased in one transaction.
There are no additional discounts available for student, senior, or child tickets, but drivers, tour guides, chaperones
or parents attending with the group may purchase tickets at the same rate as the students, seniors or children they are
bringing to the performance. Again, these tickets must be purchased in one transaction. Please call the Box Office at
936.468.6407 or 888.240.ARTS for more information.
What other discounts are available?
Senior citizen discounts are available for adults ages 62 and older.
Student discounts are applicable for those in high school and younger and full-time
college students with a valid I.D. from any university or college. University students holding discounted tickets
will be asked to show their I.D. to the usher upon admission to the performance.
Children receive a discounted ticket, but those under 5 are not encouraged to attend
some events. Should you choose to bring small children, you must purchase a ticket for them.
SFA faculty and staff may purchase two half price adult tickets to all events. For
University Series Choice5 events, discounted seats are valid in sections B & C only.
Can I buy season tickets?
Season tickets are offered at the beginning of the school year. These packages typically become available starting
in the middle of the summer and continue through October.

we ticket do not sell out.
Does the Box Office share my personal information?

ask us or the presenting school. Content advisories for the
